- Accumulator
- a single bet that links multiple selections, all of which must win for you to get a payout.
- Age Verification
- the check to confirm that a user is legally old enough to gamble.
- American Odds
- odds shown as a positive or negative number, indicating how much you win on a $100 bet or how much you need to stake to win $100.
- Arbitrage Betting
- placing bets on all possible outcomes across different bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- a bet that gives one team a handicap (extra goal advantage or deficit) to make the match even, removing the draw as an option.
- Bankroll
- the total amount of money you have set aside for placing bets.
- Cash Out
- a feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Closing Line
- the final odds offered just before an event starts, used to judge the quality of a bet.
- Decimal Odds
- odds expressed as a single number that includes your stake, which you multiply by your bet to see your total return.
- Double Chance
- a bet that covers two of the three possible results (home win, draw, or away win) in one wager.
- Expected Value
- the average amount you can expect to win or lose per bet if you repeat the bet many times.
- Fractional Odds
- odds shown as a fraction, telling you how much profit you’ll make for each unit you stake.
- Free Bet
- a promotional credit you can use to place a bet without risking your own money.
- Hedge
- betting on the opposite outcome of an existing bet to reduce risk or lock in a profit.
- In-Play Betting
- placing bets on a match while it is already being played.
- Juice
- the cut a bookmaker takes on a bet, built into the odds.
- KYC
- the process of verifying your identity, age, and source of funds to prevent fraud and ensure legal compliance.
- Line Movement
- changes in the odds or point spread over time as the market reacts to new information.
- Over/Under
- a bet on whether the total number of goals scored will be more or less than a number set by the bookmaker.
- Parlay
- a bet that combines two or more individual wagers and pays out only if every selection wins.
- Rollover
- the number of times you must bet the bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings.
- Self-Exclusion
- a tool that lets you block yourself from betting on the site for a chosen period.
- Steam
- a rapid, large shift in odds caused by heavy betting on one side.
- Unit
- a standard portion of your bankroll used to size bets, often expressed as a fixed percentage.
- Value Bet
- a wager where the odds offered are higher than the true chance of the outcome, giving you an edge.
